On 27 January 2005, Singapore deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations its instrument of accession to the above-mentioned Convention.

On 12 October 2005, Viet Nam deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations its instrument of accession to the above-mentioned Convention.

The total number of States that have deposited an instrument of ratification or acceptance of, or accession to the Convention relating to the Distribution of Programme-carrying Signals Transmitted by Satellite is 29 States, up to 31 October 2006.
