| UNESCO, The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and The Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Russia) held the Regional Conference On the Illicit Traffic in Cultural Property (prevention of the illicit import, export and transfer of ownership of cultural property) from 17 – 20 September 2002 in Moscow, Russian Federation. The conference was attended by official representatives from the CIS and Baltic countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan).
