MIDEM is the world's largest music industry trade fair. It brings together musicians, businesspeople, cultural policy makers, and journalists from many countries and provides a forum for business talks, discussing political and legal issues, and showcasing new artists, musical trends and music-related products. For the 2010 edition, conferences were organized on the theme “From Content to Context - Monetising the New Music Experience”. On this occasion, international artists and music industry experts addressed issues related to the challenges faced by the music industry in a digital environment. |
