Participation of civil society representatives at the sessions of the Intergovernmental Committee

In accordance with Rule 7.4 of the
Provisional Rules of Procedure of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and with Decision 1.EXT.IGC 5 adopted at its first extraordinary session (24-27 June 2008), nongovernmental organizations (ONG) having interests and activities in the field covered by the Convention wishing to participate as observers to a session or all sessions of the Committee, are asked to submit a written request to the Director-General of UNESCO. Are eligible only NGOs who respond to the criteria of Annex II of Decision 1.EXT.IGC 5.
