Summary of the activities
Issue: Many people read in their respectively familiar languages, but do not know how to type in those languages at various computer systems (conventional typing might require knowledge of symbols on the available keyboard, of transliteration schemes for input method software, and of use of that software - or a special keyboard - which might be absent at available computers).
Approach: Using YesIType.com , people select their preferred languages and select-and-paste characters from those languages into outgoing e-mail messages, word-processing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other destinations.
- A person with slower / limited Internet access might - after the main page alone has loaded - disconnect from the Internet and still use the basic YesIType.com capabilities.
- Traveling, or located at home, school, work, a telecentre, or elsewhere, people using YesIType.com can create text in preferred languages.
