Summary of the activities
The project YoGoTe uses international signs to promote multilingualism around the world. The international signs use a parallel channel of communication that allows people from different languages to speak to each other without needing any translations. The project began at a UNESCO-ASP school in Galice, Spain, in the year 1994, and it is developing activities and materials in a progressive way with the free collaboration of more schools at Primary, Secondary and University levels.

Several materials for the multilingual learning are being developed, using the international signs as a common learning tool. The same method can be used to learn any language in an easy way at a basic level.

The experiences, materials and tools can be seen and used freely at the project´s website

Main partners
- UNESCO-ASP schools from several countries (Spain, Portugal, Japan, Cuba, Brazil, Senegal and Greece up to now)
- Other schools are gradually participating (from Turkey, Italy and India at the moment)
- Centro de Estudos Humanísticos da Universidade do Minho, Braga (Portugal)
