Summary of the activities
The following five activities have been identified in order to achieve the objective of the LLB in terms of Languages matter of UNESCO, 2008.
- Awareness raising programmes for school children on learning local and English languages;
- Awareness raising programmes for school teachers on learning local and English languages;
- Empowering the children as changing agents in social mobilization;
- Professional guidance on educational and career choices for children;
- Art competitions for school children on “Languages matter”.
