Second Extraordinary Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

At its second session in Tokyo (September 2007) the Intergovernmental Committee decided to reconvene before the next session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the 2003 Convention.

This second extraordinary session, to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the invitation of the Bulgarian Authorities, allows the Committee to prepare its biennial report to the General Assembly and finalize the operational directives for the Assembly’s approval.
