The objective of this sub-regional meeting is to facilitate the participation of Pacific Members States in UNESCO’s activities related to living heritage, in particular through the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding on the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Updated information is provided on activities carried out at the international level for safeguarding intangible heritage and on the potential benefits of this Convention for Pacific States.
