The International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar

The new International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar, Croatia, opened in September 2007. Its purpose is to carry out conservation and restoration activities regarding objects recovered from submerged archaeological sites and educate in underwater archaeology. It will however also promote the ratification and implementation of the UNESCO 2001 Convention.
