These case studies have been generously supplied by the researchers, organisations and countries as listed. As far as possible, all case studies have been reported using the information as supplied. In some instances, editorial or translation changes have been made.
All the case studies have been organised in the same format to make analysis and comparison easier. Countries could submit up to 3 research based cases studies conducted within the last 10 years.
These case studies were submitted as part of the global research compendium on the impact of the arts in education UNESCO project, carried out in collaboration with the Australia Council for the Arts (The Council) and the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA).
The full report is contained within “The Wow Factor: Global research compendium on the impact of the arts in education” by Professor Anne Bamford, Wimbledon School of Arts.
