 Description of the project 'Yellow Chair Stories':

One sentence description:
"My WiFi network is open for neighbours and passers-by. Free access from the yellow chair." A social intervention at the threshold of private/public and physical/electronic space.

Technical description :
1.Several yellow chairs and a team of 2 people who will facilitate the
initial communication between different people across the city and help in
documentation.
2.Build the interface which will connect the people on different yellow
chairs across the city with the assistance of a software developer.
3.Source and negotiate with people who are willing to share their wireless
networks for public access.
4.Build directional, location specific wireless nodes attached to the
yellow chairs.
5.Enable local individual computers to connect with unknown machines
through encrypted software which will ensure security.
