5 - Creating Part 2, “Proliferation”

What is new:
For this part, we have selected two new kinds of processing which call for two software programs as yet unused.

First, we transform the photograph of the flute into sound. The freeware Coagula is sufficiently powerful to transfer the photo of the flute and allow you to draw.

Secondly, the title of this part of the piece refers to a proliferation of sound fragments, and the type of software used does indeed allow you to make sounds multiply like so many grains of musical matter.

The freeware Granulab is a very simple and efficient program for granular synthesis.
