6th International Book Fair, Ramallah
The International Book Fair, organized jointly with the Palestinian Ministry of Culture and UNESCO, will include this year a round table on "The role of Book Fairs in promoting reading and strengthening book development"

This event will be attended by H. Exc. Mr Y. Yahlouf, the Palestinian Minister of Culture, Ms Milagros del Corral of the UNESCO Sector of Culture and Mr Peter Weidhaas, an international expert and former Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair (Germany).
UNESCO had facilitated the transportation of more than 45.000 titles for the Book Fair which represents about 100 publishers from several arab states.
The results of the Workshop, for authors, illustrators and publishers of children’s books held in Ramallah in December 2004 will also be presented on this occasion.
