Samara State Academy of Culture and Arts
The Academy is one of the largest higher educational institutions in the field of culture and arts in the Volga region. It comprises 8 faculties, among them Faculty of Musical performing, Theatre and Faculty of Arts, which contains chairs of Producing and Acting, Arts and Crafts, Modern dance and Folk dance. Some artistic groups created at the Academy are well-known both in Samara and the region. The Academy is also an important scientific center of the Volga region, a laboratory of artistic explorations which cooperates with many Russian and foreign scientific and cultural organizations, educational institutions.
