Appeal by the First Cultural Forum for Iraq
(English and Arabic versions) Appeal launched by the participants at the First Cultural Forum for Iraq organized by UNESCO in Paris on 26 and 27 May 2004. |

The Forum, which was attended by some 30 Iraqi experts from Iraq or elsewhere in the world as well as some international experts, was intended to begin preparations for a national plan of action for culture. It is expected to hold a larger meeting in Baghdad this autumn to be attended by all the interested parties. - Read the Appeal in English or in Arabic
