Although he has numerous compositional credits his first love is the spontaneous creation of music. The challenge and the immediacy of this mode of expression resonates most strongly. Bio     A frequent performer in the Amsterdam scene Tom has also performed throughout Europe notably in Germany, The Czech Republic, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK. During this period he participated in an orientation period at STEIM (A research institute dedicated to the creation of alternative MIDI instruments) where he developed his design for the Sensorlab guitar. So far 2001 has seen performances at the What Is Music? Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, work with the Snuff Puppets and an ABC recording with the group Void (still to be released).
