The project will build on the experience of the UNESCO-DANIDA Project “E-governance for African Municipalities” and will focus on the five cities selected during this project.
A needs and opportunities assessment study is being conducted by an expert consultant and the report will be available by November 2002 on this website. The report will provide the basis for the establishment of strategic partnerships.

e-Government Project Launched in Gambia*
07-03-2005 - The government of The Gambia under the auspicious of DOSCIT has recently launched the E-Government project at the GRTS Building Complex, presided over by the vice President Isatou Njie Saidy. The objective of the E-Government project among other things include delivering first class public services, increasing citizen's participation, and streamlining public services.
