Going into Phase III of this ICT learning Initaitive, the project team is preparing a Reference Kit based on the lessons learnt of the Alexandra Township in South Africa and Manhiça community in Mozambique.

It will be composed of:
1. The end results of the two countries, namely the two CD-Roms produced under the initiative;
2. A video of the application development process as it went in South Africa;
3. A set of guidelines for local content and application development, based on the lessons learnt from the two participating countries.

Objectives:
  • Consolidate the on-going experience and build on this “Premiere” to accelerate similar exercises by the project partners;
  • Inspire and assist communities in general in developing their own computer based content for lifelong learning and community development;
  • Encourage decision makers to promote local computer based content development in various contexts and settings for lifelong learning and community development.
