Proposal for implementation strategy The proposal of programme of “Training for Local e-governance in Africa”, output of the “Consultative Meeting on Training for Local e-Governance” (Tangier, 15-18 January 2003), jointly organized by CAFRAD, IICD and UNESCO, is intended to be an inter-agency African initiative to promote the building of capacities for local governments through the training on the effective integration of ICTs in the governance process.
