The workshop, the first of its kind in Kazakhstan provided an inside to Internet broadcasting that in many countries has already started to add a new dimension to broadcasting scenarios.

Coordinated by AIBD's Hara Prasad Padhy, the workshop covered a variety of themes such as an introduction to available Internet broadcasting technologies, an introduction to software for streaming, techniques for capturing audio and video for streaming and encoding audio and video (for both on-demand and Live), the installation of streaming server installation and configuration, an introduction to Internet broadcasting programming languages, the metadata issue and broadcasting News over the web.
