ISIS_DLL the programming interface for developing CDS/ISIS software

Developed by BIREME and UNESCO, the ISIS_DLL is a Application Programming Interface (API) for developing software using the CDS/ISIS technology. The DLL (Dynamic Link Library) is independent from the programming language used for writing the hosting application.

As an example, several of the CDS/ISIS utilities available at the UNESCO site (such as XML2Isis and IsisAscii) use the ISIS_DLL for accessing, reading or creating CDS/ISIS databases or records.
