Tunis workshop on writing
for radio and TV

32 women media professionals from the Arab Region attended a training workshop last week in Tunis (Tunisia), which was organized by UNESCO’s Office in Beirut, in cooperation with the Arab Women Organization. The four-day specialised workshop focused on writing for radio and television.
The workshop, which took place from 10 to 13 November, was conducted by two media experts and a representative of the UNESCO Office in Beirut. Participants learnt how to write radio and TV scenarios addressing women and studied real examples of programmes prepared for women.
The training sessions were divided into two parts, one dedicated to TV and another one to radio, and covered the following topics:

- creative thinking,
- elements of writing,
- content of radio and television programmes, and
- production of programmes.
