It seeks new ways in which people can enhance their participation in the political and cultural life of the general community through the media.  Documents Policy paper by Pr David Buckingham Media Education a Global Strategy for Development. This study focuses on media education for young people. It lays out broad guidelines to media education, an appraisal of its application around the world and proposes a strategy for its future development. Survey Report on Approaches to Youth Media Literacy, by Kate Domaille This report presents the results of a worldwide survey of Media Education, mainly in formal education. It summarises the responses from participants in 35 countries, and presents a summary of existing documentation on the subject.
