IDAMS is a project with long history of international co-operation. Its development started in 1986 by the version for IBM mainframe computers.
Since then, the software has been and is continuously being enriched, modified and updated by the UNESCO Secretariat with the co-operation of experts from different countries namely American, Belgian, British, Colombian, French, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Tunisian and Ukrainian specialists.
